Eng. Alaa Diab

Eng. Mohamed Alaa Diab is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Modern Agriculture Company- PICO since 2015.  Eng. Diab has a BSc. in Engineering from Cairo University 1981 and an MBA from the American University in Cairo 1988. Eng. Diab also is a part of EEA, EBA , CFPA and AEC associations.

Working Career :

Eng. Diab has more than 30 years’  working experience.  He started his career as sales engineer in PICO Machinery for 3 years, and then he joined the PICO Petroleum Services for 4 years as a Sales Manager. The passion for agriculture development was implanted in me when I was 14 years old by my father Dr. Kamel Diab, who was a pioneer in Agricultural Exports.   In 1990, he joined the Modern Agriculture Company – PICO, as a General Manager.  In 1996, he was promoted to the Managing Director, and in 2015, he became the CEO where he still holds this position to date.  Eng. Diab realized remarkable achievements in the company’s performance both domestically and internationally.

– Eng. Diab is the chairman of the Agriculture and Irrigation committee of the Egyptian Businessmen Association.

– Board Member of AEC “Agriculture Export Council”.

– Board Member in the following business councils: .

• The Egyptian-French Business Council.
• The British-Egyptian Businessmen Association.
• Board Member in Expolink of EEA (Egyptian Exporter Association).
• Previous Member of Egyptian Parliament from 1995-2000.
